We are the Georgia Association of College Republicans

The 2012 Chairman's Address to Donors

“In 2008 and 2010, the Georgia Association of College Republicans had more volunteer hours than any other state federation. We were able to be so successful in these years, because of all the generous donations given to us. Ask any Republican elected in 2008 and 2010 about the importance of the College Republicans. They saw us out there knocking on doors and calling voters on their behalf. We’ve supported a variety of campaigns by pooling volunteers statewide, which include the gubernatorial, senatorial, congressional, house representatives, and county and statewide GOP positions.

Our dedication to the Republican Party even extends outside state lines: this summer the GACRs traveled to Wisconsin to help Governor Walker during the recall elections. We also travelled to the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s conference in Washington, D.C., where we listened to speeches from national GOP figures and attended multiple workshops designed to train political activists in defeating Democratic candidates. We also organize annual 9/11 remembrances and voter registration events. We are able to do all of these things because of the generous donations made throughout the year that paid things such as for rental vans, hotel rooms, and food.”

Elliott Echols, Georgia Association of College Republicans (GACR) Chairman

Donate Today!

It is imperative that our efforts are supported by good, patriotic citizens like yourself. We receive no funding from the universities where we operate—we rely 100% on donations.

In 2008, twice as many college-aged young people voted for President Obama than Senator McCain. Statistics show that once a young person votes for the Democratic Party in 3 elections, they are unlikely to ever return to the GOP. This means that students as young as 22 years old could become liberal Democratic voters for life.

Your contribution to the Georgia Association of College Republicans (GACR) will make the difference in reaching young people at Georgia colleges and universities, and help elect Republican leaders to serve in Georgia’s state capitol and in Washington, D.C. You can make a difference this year by helping us spread the word of conservatism on our campuses and helping us get Republicans elected.
